The Galston Concerts Young Violists Virtual Performance Competition:
A competition for young violists, no older than 18 years, still enrolled in pre-tertiary school. Entrants will be asked to submit a ‘one-take’ video recording of a 25-minute recital, including brief spoken introductions. Entries and recordings must be received by 31 August. At the judging panel’s discretion, awards up to a minimum $3,000 will be announced at The Galston Concerts on Sunday 18 September. Entry fee will include one-year membership of ANZVS.
